Teen Top at Korean Culture & Tourism Festival 151023 in NYC

Teen Top performed in Times Square, New York City for free and I couldn't pass up the opportunity to see them. They and a bunch of other acts such as K-Tigers performed in the Korean Culture & Tourism Festival, which took place to promote the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics.

I got there pretty late (less than 5 minutes before Teen Top came on stage) because I had work, so I was in the very back of the crowd :(

I'd just like to share my experience since this type of event doesn't happen every day.

The boys seem to be more handsome in real life, probably because of the way lighting and camera lens make them look different on screen. The MCs said they just woke up so I guess they were still groggy because I could tell they didn't exert 100% of their energy although it looked like they put in a lot of effort. After all, they are representatives of Korea that day and headlining the festival. Must be jet lag, totally understandable. (Speaking of 100%, what happened to their labelmates...)

Teen Top performed 5 songs in total - Miss Right, Ah-Ah, Hot Like Fire, Crazy, and Rocking. Being only average height and people in front of me raising their arms really high to take pictures and record them, I was only able to get decent footage from their song "Hot Like Fire". It's from their most recent album Natural Born Teen Top and the only song performed that's not a title track, so I guess a lot of people didn't know it thus they didn't record it. If you've watched their Ah-Ah MV, part of Hot Like Fire was played in the beginning. You can watch the video I took but it's not very good :P

Of course L.Joe did most of the talking in English between sets. Niel and Chunji's vocals were pretty good live. Ricky and Changjo sung well too, but the first two vocalists stood out to me. The rappers did well without any breaks or catching their breath while dancing so props to them. CAP made some dance mistakes as usual XD It seemed like the crowd had a good time. Teen Top wrapped up the festival successfully!

I've watched them perform for the first time during KCON 2014 and in my opinion they seemed to be jet lagged too at that time. There's also the fact that they probably performed Crazy, Miss Right, and Rocking/No Joke like thousands of times so it's become routine. (KCON 2014 pics below)

Did anyone attend the festival during the day? If so, how was it?
