Review: Adidas x Have a Good Time

Fashion has been bringing back the tracksuit and designers have been recreating it for a newer look. Adidas have designed the deconstruction tracksuit and also the Snap Track Pants. For the FW18 season Adidas teamed up with the Japanese brand Have A Good Time and they released a bunch of clothes such as tracksuit, T-shirts and shoes. So I decided to buy the tracksuit before they went over to the new SS19 (released yesterday).

SHINY BALL CAP from Freiknock
Trackjacket from Adidas x Have a Good Time
Trackpants from Adidas x Have a Good Time

Many idols are wearing tracksuits these days, probably because it's comfortable to wear and some of them may be wearing some uncomfortable clothes that they don't like during shows so tracksuit will make them feel more free. For those who follow the idols closely, you may have noticed that all idols wore tracksuits during Idol Athletic Championship 2019. The suits that they are wearing are from Nerdy. Nerdy is a relatively new Korean brand and they have almost sold out everything they have in store. If we talk about western brand Nike they have released a re-issue a 89-style tracksuit for all people to wear. And Adidas is continuously trying to create something new for everyone.

Back to tracksuit then. It is a reversible one. It has two sides, one with the more classic Adidas feel and one with all over print pattern which also has an Adidas logo on the back (sorry for the bad picture on the first one). The material is different, the sleek side with the more classic style has the regular tracksuit feel and the all over print has more of "snowboard clothing" material that is warmer I guess. But you can always mix and match, my favorite styling would be all over print jacket and black pants.

What more should I say, if you want a tracksuit check out the links that I mentioned or
if you have some other brands that you like, buy it because it's worth doing that. The collaboration between Adidas x Have a Good Time is still going on, if you don't like the red version you may buy the new season which is blue. Other accessories that I wear Y-3 (love that cap) and I'm using the Notice Phone Case from Frei.

Review: Skinfood Rice Mask Wash Off

Hello! This is a review on the Rice Mask Wash Off by a Korean Skincare brand known as Skinfood. I purchased this at Ulta Beauty for $10 (USD), but you can also get it on the official Skinfood site for the same price!

Rating: 5/5

Packaging: Sealed nicely and when you open it up there is a soft grainy type substance. These small grains help in exfoliating and softening your skin.

Skin Type: I have dry sensitive skin, so when I first used this mask and my face began to sting a little, it made me nervous to leave it on for longer.

Results: After about 10 minutes I rinsed off the mask and was very surprised! I could now understand why the Rice Mask Wash Off is one of Skinfood's best sellers. After drying, my skin was more softer then it had ever been with past products.

Recommend?: I'd recommend this to anyone who likes Korean Skincare Products. I think anyone who wants a nice soft glow to their skin should try this mask.

Dry Skin Out?: Not at all! The mask is very hydrating.

Acne?: I was happy that it did not cause my skin to break out and has actually helped prevent it!

Overall: This was one of the best masks I have tried! You can also see other people's reviews on the product by visiting the Skinfood site.

Review: Freiknock Caps

After spending Christmas and New Year at home, I decided that the winter was over. So what I did was to make purchases and continue my Freiknock collection. As you may know Freiknock is a Korean brand made by Joohyung You. What I bought was the red ball cap and the navy one from the official website which provides worldwide shipping. The corduroy cap in the middle is an old one from before.

It wasn't that hard to navigate through the website since it's all in English. I recommend Freiknock if you want to buy something from a Korean brand. For me who lives in Europe it's hard to buy clothes from Korea since not many website gives us the opportunity. So when Freiknock does it, I will continue to collect clothes from this brand.

More coming soon,
Peace out ✌︎

MSKN2ND Sweatshirt Review

Hi everyone! It's sweater weather in New York where I live so I wanted to share my review of a Korean brand sweatshirt I bought. I ordered a MSKN2ND Unisex M Lure Crewneck Sweatshirt in size small from W Concept. My order came rather quickly from South Korea, as I placed the order on the 3rd of the month and it came the 11th.

Review: Inspire Me Korea January Culture Box | 10% OFF CODE: KSTYLEFILES

Our 1st subscription box review wooo! This amazing subscription box is from Inspire Me Korea. They are a UK based Korean culture subscription box company, offering K-beauty and K-food boxes worldwide. I will be reviewing the January culture box in this post. They kindly offered us a discount code so if you like the box, you can get 10% OFF upcoming culture boxes. Buy boxes here!

10% OFF CODE: KSTYLEFILES
(Code only works once, can only be used in upcoming culture boxes not January one,
cannot be used in combination with other codes)

Packaging: The box itself has the Inspire Me Korea label on it. The cute little drawings of architecture representing South Korea. There is even a cute thank you sticker indicating that the gifts were hand selected by the editors~ Once the box is open, there is tissue paper so it's still a mystery as to what is inside :P

Magazines: The first thing I picked out was the Inspire Me Korea magazines they create for its boxes. Inside you will find information about how Koreans celebrate the Christmas and the New Year as well as Korean phrases you can learn. Anything that improves my Korean is always a plus for me :P My favourite parts of the booklet is of course the Kdrama page which gives you recommendations and the interview page where they interview Korean Youtubers. The Christmas edition has Joan Kim (my favourite K-beauty youtuber <3 ) while the New Year edition has Woojong Oppa~ Lastly there are Korean recipes you can try to make at home and a page on the contents of the box.

Beauty: The beauty item for this box is the Koyangi (Cat) headband which comes in black and grey. Not only are they super cute and turn you into a cat but also doubles up as a headband that keeps your hair back during your skincare and makeup routine ^_^ If you want more beauty items, Inspire Me Korea has their own Beauty Box which you can buy with 10% OFF: KSTYLEFILES
I will be reviewing that box very soon!

Snacks: Firstly we have the Seaweed Laver Trays. The dumpling soup recipe given in the booklet goes well with seaweed. Just eating some butter rice with seaweed or even by itself is so good <3

Next we have the Haitai Honey Cheese Potato Snack. I've rarely tried Korean snacks but damn these are really yummy. If you like sweet and savoury flavours in one snack then you will love these!

The last snack is the Tteokbokki Snack. So I thought they were going to be super spicy and I'm not a big on spicy food which is weird since I'm Asian hahaha anyway they aren't too bad~ Tteokbokki itself is a popular Korean food made from soft rice cake, fish cake, and the sweet red chili sauce called gochujang.

So the final items is the Lucky Money Envelope (Korean: sae bae ton) and Korean Notebook. The money envelope is part of the new year tradition of receiving money from the elders. This is the same as receiving lucky pockets in Chinese New Year. The notebook is a cute addition to end the box. I think I'm going to use it to finally make a list of all the places I want to go to in Korea!

Overall Review: Damn this box has a lot to offer and at the price it comes at (£13.99/$17.22) it is a real bargain! Many korean subscription boxes are all based in the US so for this one to be based in the UK where I live is very special for me~ You guys should definitely check it out.

Till the next review~

Wendy

KENZO x H&M review

Earlier this year H&M announced that they are doing a collection collaboration with KENZO. After the success with Balmain and Alexander Wang, KENZO was next to come.
The official release of the collection was the 3rd of November.

I got the T-shirt with appliqués (to the left) and Wool T-shirt (to the right) from the KENZO x H&M collection.

May Coop Raw Sauce Review

Hello friends, this post is dedicated to reviewing an essence called May Coop Raw Sauce. I saw it on Sephora while doing holiday shopping and it has really good reviews. Although this is a Korean skincare product, it seems like many Koreans have not heard of it. I decided to try the product out for myself in the dry winter months and would like to share my experience using it.

Skinfood Fresh Aloe Pack Review

Hi everyone, this post is a review of the Fresh Aloe Pack from Korean skincare brand Skinfood. I bought it on sale for $9 (USD) but so far online I've seen it usually go for around $12-18. Urban Outfitters sells it for $18 and Amazon sells it for cheaper (price fluctuates).

I GOT1

Howdy hi~
I have a pretty old find for you all. I only recently found it and was supposed to post about it like a week ago... *Cheon Song Yi style* I'm Sawry.
It's thanks to my younger sister that I was able to make this find though haha!

Okay, long story coming up, skip to below the image if you'd just like to know the necessary info.
So what happened WAS, my sister was black friday shopping and came across this top, sent me a photo to ask if she should buy it for me since it was on sale. I loved how it looked and was all "Hell yeah!" (She knows me so well~)
Afterwards I was thought to myself "Hold on...who was wearing that...idols...GOT7! But who?" I went on trusty old Google and typed in the 2 members I thought it was between and BAM it was not BamBam but JR!
But the most AMAZING part? Guess how much it cost me....
£3.50!!! And guess how much it usually costs- you'll find out below!

The sweater you see Jinyoung wearing for his Just Right teaser pic is the Recycled Cotton Mixed Stripe Pullover in White Stripe from American Apparel originally priced at $80. (£68 in the UK)
At this time it is still available for purchase at a size small for $40.
Unfortunately it is no longer available to buy from the online UK store.

For my little review- I LOVE IT! It is comfy and the knit is such good quality. It's heavy (in a good way) making it much more suited for winter. I got this in a medium size as I love my clothes baggy (the arms of it cover past my hands which is how I like my sweaters). The only thing that would've made this JUST RIGHT would've been if the length was a little longer to go down to my knees! I also bought the 'Black White Stripe' version but for £8.
Both the tops are beautiful, the quality is amazing and I got them for a STEAL! All thanks to my sis!

And that's all for now. Sorry for all the rambling...

(If you were one of the few to read through all my nonsense then I am so sorry)

Freiknock & Piece Peace Review from Habstore

Hello readers! We writers of KSF have decided not only focusing on finding clothes by our favorite artists but also if we buy or find something that we think is worth writing about. We will share our experience with you readers.

This time Im going to talk about my favorite collection that I have and favorite item of clothing, which is headwear all from caps to fedora. I was thinking of get a beret but didn't know how it would fit, I'm thinking is easier to try it in store.

Through my Instagram I have been seeing a lot of artists wearing caps that I didn't know what brand it was but luckily Hyomin of T-ara tagged on the picture the brand of the cap. The caps she was wearing was a Corduroy Cap Pink.

So I was searching all over the internet for websites that both have the brand but they also need to ship it overseas. I started to look on the official website of Freiknock and they only ship the products in the area of South Korea. The only thing I could do was keep on searching on other websites but still didn't find anything, until like two weeks ago when if found Habstore.com. Luckily they ship the their product overseas and the have that cap that I wanted. The decision making of choosing what color to have was really hard but I ended up with the beige one. So I was why not choose one more when I ordering from South Korea so I ended up with Peace slogan baseball cap from Piece Peace too.

The caps are adjustable so it fits perfect, but it's not the same feeling when you are wearing a snapback. It's hard to describe the exact feeling but I falling in love the regular caps now.  On the Freiknock the material is very special on caps since it's corduroy so it's a bit hard and it has a different feeling when you wear it. Piece Peace is 100% cotton so it has a feeling like when you wear a regular cap that can be bought everywhere.
The design of the both caps is very simple which makes them look stunning. Perfect done and hope that the future collection will be as good as this.

My rating for this purchase:
Product: 10 point out of 10
Shipment: 9 point out of 10

Feel free to ask about something and thanks Habstore.com for this time
Piece out ✌︎
